Our very first Lunch at Lumbers was a great goal!
With TalkSport host and Chelsea (and Spurs) legend, Jason Cundy being interviewed by Gary Newbon, the football fans were in raptures. At Lumbers, we love to create events that step outside the ordinary, so we have launched our Lunch at Lumbers, creating events which introduce well known celebrities from the worlds of sport, entertainment and business. With 80 like-minded guests enjoying fine dining, excellent wines, and being entertained by some unusual and different celebs.
We were delighted to welcome back Richard Jones, winner of BGT, who wowed our guests with magic and Faith Tucker whose angelic voice soared through the shop, like a football on the way to the back of the net. Catering from Saffron and Wines from Warren at Vin-X tickled everyone’s taste buds. Champions UK plc, Pick Everard, Bentley Leicester and Berkeley Insurance Group also joined us for the fun. And during the frivolity, we raised an impressive £2600 for Rainbows Children’s Hospice, with the lucky winner of the raffle receiving the prize of a football signed by Golden Boots himself… David Beckham!
