Switzerland is long the home of finest watchmaking traditions. In Montblanc’s Le Locle and Villeret Manufactures in the Swiss Alps, superbly intricate movements are crafted in house by master watchmakers to form the heart of every chronograph. Innovative complications and exquisite adornments are meticulously shaped with skill and dedication to perfect each watch. From hairspring and balance bearing to pallet fork, in over 300 hours of dedicated focus all the elements are brought into singular harmony, and with the first turn of its movement, a watch comes to life and a journey begins.
The Montblanc Star Legacy product line takes its inspiration from Minerva’s heritage and the company’s pocket watches that were made during the late 19th century and early 20th century. In line with the design codes of the product line, the Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date features a refined silvery-white dial with the Montblanc exploding star guilloché pattern, Roman numerals, leaf-shaped hands, a “filet sauté” guilloché motif and a unique railway track. The timepiece is equipped with the automatic calibre MB 24.01 and features the hours, minutes and seconds in the centre and a date in an aperture at six o’clock. It comes in a 42 mm stainless steel case and is fitted with a trendy blue Sfumato alligator leather strap coming from the Richemont Pelletteria in Florence, Italy.
