Partner and official timekeeper of la corsa più bella del mondo for 30 years now, Chopard has created the special Mille Miglia 2018 Race Edition to celebrate this anniversary. The timepiece subtly evokes Mille Miglia racing cars from 1927 to 1940, with its anthracite engined-turned dial inspired by classical dashboards. Housed in a 42mm stainless steelcase, the self-winding movement is COSC-certified. The Mille Miglia 2018 Race Edition wears the Special Mille Miglia 30 anniversary partnership logo engraved on the case-back with a new leather strap with rubber linin and emblematic red details.
This stainless steel model features a 42mm case with black dial and three white dial chronograph detailing. Chronograoh informs wearer of seconds, 30 minutes counter and 12 hour counter. Numbers are inspired by vintaga cars, this contrasted with the chronograph and leather perforated strap is the perfect vintage sports feel. Date window at 4'oclock. Hands and indices are coated with luminescent coating ensuring the dial is legible. This model comes with a self-winding mechanical movement giving the wearer a 42hr power reserve. Model is water-resistant to 50m with crown screwed down.
