Taking inspiration from a historic collection first released in 1964, this remarkable Breitling Premier Top Time Limited Edition watch continues to target an audience of young and active professionals. On its release, the collection with its bold, elegant aesthetics was an instant hit, and it wasn’t long before the design became prevalent in pop culture, most famously worn by Sean Connery as James Bond in the 1965 film Thunderball. It’s extraordinary dial also commemorates one of the more unique models in the collection nicknamed the ‘Zorro’. The name comes from the distinctive triangular shaped bands framing the chronograph counter that evokes the silhouette of Zorro’s half-face mask.
As well as flawlessly honouring the brand’s legacy, the Breitling Premier Top Time Limited Edition has made history of its own as the first timepiece by Breitling to offer a blockchain-based digital passport. This handy piece of technology means it is easy to confirm the authenticity and ownership of the watch with a simple click. It’s vintage aesthetics also pair with modern sapphire crystal glass and the Breitling Calibre 23 movement, a COSC certified calibre which provides central hands for hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, two sub-dials for 30 minute counter and small seconds and a power reserve of 48 hours. The self-winding movement is kept hidden within the 41mm stainless steel case and a closed case back which boasts a limited edition engraving “ONE OF 2000 and promises a water resistant rating of 30 metres.
