A purpose built pilots watch for the true airborne adventurer, this Breitling Super Avenger Chronograph 48 promises to be extremely robust, shock resistant and effortless to use while controlling the skies. It’s statement 48mm stainless steel case brings a strong presence to the wrist thanks to its large 60 minute scale unidirectional bezel with ratcheted detailing and screw down crown and chronograph pushers decorated with a special grip pattern to ensure easy operation when wearing thick gloves in the cockpit.
The 300 metre water resistant case of this Breitling Super Avenger Chronograph watch continues to impress with high quality sapphire crystal glass housing the dial. This remarkable material not only provides incredible scratch resistance but has been treated with an anti-reflective coating for easy legibility. The glass protects an unmissable black dial decorated with aviation inspired indices and propeller shaped hands coated in glow in the dark Superluminova alongside matching black subsidiary dials for continuous seconds, 30 minutes counter and 12 hours counter. Powering each of these functions is the Breitling 13 self-winding mechanical movement which also provides centre hands for hour and minutes, central chronograph seconds, a date window at 3 o clock and a power reserve of 42 hours. To complete the masculine aesthetic of this Breitling watch for men, a sophisticated stainless steel bracelet is added alongside a classic folding buckle.
